SUMMARY OF BENEFITS:

The benefits apply to each named person who shall be covered for the trip only as specified in the application form, except for cancellation cover, which shall commence from the date that the certificate is issued.

Medical Expenses ~ Up to £5 million

Cover for hospital and other medical expenses incurred whilst abroad and within 52 weeks of date of injury/illness. Including additional hotel expenses and repatriation costs.

Cancellation and Curtailment ~ Up to £3,000

Reimbursement for unused travel and accommodation costs if you have to cancel or cut short your holiday for various reasons.

Journey Continuation ~ Up to £400

Reasonable additional travel and accommodation expenses in meeting overseas connection if interruption, caused by strikes, industrial action, criminal or terrorist action, etc.

Employee Replacement ~ Up to £5,000

Additional expenses incurred in replacing an insured person as a result of death, injury, illness or hi-jack.

Hospital Benefit ~ Up to £1,500

A cash benefit of £50 for each completed day spent as an inpatient in a hospital abroad. Maximum 30 days.

Travel Delay ~ Up to £60

A cash benefit if the aircraft or ship is delayed for various reasons.

Personal Liability ~ Up to £2 million

If you are held legally liable for injury or damage to other people or their property, (not a member of an insured persons family or household).

Loss of Passport ~ Up to £500

Additional expenses incurred in obtaining replacement passport.

Personal Accident ~ Up to £20,000

Payable in the event of death or disablement including £25 per week payable from the end of the cover if unable to work or carry out normal duties. For young persons under 16 years of age death benefit is £1,000 and there is no weekly benefit.

Luggage, Clothing, Personal Effects ~ Up to £1,500

Reimbursement for loss or damage to luggage, clothing and personal effects. Limit £300 any one article.

Delayed Luggage ~ Up to £100

Purchase of immediate necessities if luggage temporarily lost.

Personal Money ~ Up to £500

Reimbursement for loss of cash, bank or currency notes, travellers cheques, passports, etc. (including reasonable expenses following loss).

Legal Expenses ~ Up to £25,000

In the pursuit of a claim against a Third Party who has caused bodily injury to an insured person.

Hijack, Kidnap & Detention ~ Up to £15,000

Reimbursement of additional expenses excluding ransom monies.

Car Hire Excess Waiver ~ Up to £250

Liability for an excess as a result of accident or loss in hire vehicle.

If Extended To Winter Sports:

Ski Pack ~ Up to £250

For loss of ski pass.

Piste Closure ~ Up to £200

Should all skiing facilities be closed due to lack of snow.

Avalanche ~ Up to £150

For additional accommodation and Travel expenses as a result of avalanche, landslip or landslide.
