Creative Freelance Insurance Policy for members of a-n's Arts Organisers scheme
Low Cost Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance For Self-Employed Arts Professionals
Available to all UK (inc Channel Islands and Isle of Man) resident a-n Arts Organiser members, the Creative Freelance Insurance Policy provides £5m Public & Products Liability Insurance and £1m Professional Indemnity Insurance for a wide range of freelance activities for a fixed price.
This insurance runs annually from 1st December and the price you pay depends on the date you obtain the cover. From 1st December 2012 the prices are:

IMPORTANT: This policy, taken out by a-n, runs from 1 December – 30 November with an annual cost of £94.50. The amount you pay will vary according to your purchase date – see left. |

To be eligible for this insurance, you must:
- be a member of a-n The Artists Information Company’s Arts Organiser scheme on the date of your commencement of cover under this policy
- undertake an Insured Occupation (see below)
- be in business either as a self-employed individual who does not employ anyone (other than close family members for clerical duties only) or a Limited Company where the member is the sole employee and majority shareholder
- be resident in the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man
- have not made a claim under a Public Liability or Professional Indemnity insurance policy in the 3 years prior to their commencement of cover under this policy

The activities insured by this policy reflect the varied range of occupations undertaken within the creative arts and cultural sector and applies to anyone who is
Directing, curating, commissioning, managing, coordinating, producing, acting as agent for, consulting on, or assisting with the creating of arts and cultural activities including but not limited to public and community art, arts education and interpretation, galleries and exhibitions, festivals and events, studios and workshops, digital developments, professional development and training, public relations, marketing and audience development, fundraising and sponsorship.
